Abstract

This research aims to examine the values of Islamic education in Sekaten Tradition in Surakarta. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research found that Sekaten tradition functions as an educational tool that teaches moral, spiritual, and social values. The identified Islamic education values include faith strengthening, character development, and cultural identity formation. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of culture and religion-based education in Indonesia and increase public awareness of the importance of preserving traditions that contain educational values.
