Abstract
Gunungkidul Regency is an agricultural region that has great potential. The agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the economy of Gunungkidul Regency with a contribution percentage reaching 25.5%. The agricultural sector is also the main driver of labor absorption in this region, reaching 52.8% of the total workforce. Most of the rice production in Gunungkidul Regency comes from paddy fields. The harvested area for this type of rice reached 42,078 hectares or 73.8% of the total rice harvested area in the region. In Girisubo District, there is no lowland rice cultivation because the majority of land in Gunungkidul Regency and the subdistrict is dry land, which is more suitable for cultivating upland or upland rice. Apart from that, secondary crops cultivated include corn, peanuts and cassava. Despite this, farmers in Gunungkidul face major challenges, including difficulties in market access which has led to monopolistic practices in trading agricultural products and. Apart from that, the difficulty of access to agricultural products due to unequal distribution is also a major problem faced by farmers there. Therefore, technological innovation is needed as a solution to overcome the unequal distribution of agricultural products. The Digital Industry Center in the agricultural sector can be the answer to the problems currently faced by farmers in Gunungkidul. This building will become a center for collaboration and innovation, where farmers can meet with researchers and business people to exchange knowledge, technology and experience. Through the integration of digital technology, such as online platforms and agricultural information systems, Balai Tani will facilitate access to information about best agricultural practices, market opportunities and funding for agricultural business development. In addition, the Digital Industry Center in the agricultural sector will also be a place of training and education for farmers, introducing them to modern technology and sustainable agricultural practices. In this way, it is hoped that the Digital Industry Center in the agricultural sector can increase agricultural productivity, increase farmers' income, and support local economic development in Gunungkidul Regency. And by using the Green Building approach, the aim is to maintain natural resources so they last longer, which is linked to natural resources and the human ecological environment in the long term.
