Abstract
The Qur'an is a guide to life that has dimensions for all aspects of human life and the universe. It does not only discuss religious issues but also discusses the verses of kauniyah, which many Muslim scientists have forgotten in this century. At the same time, it requires contemplation, interpretation, and in-depth research. Kauniyah verses are not limited to explaining problems from a scientific perspective, but at the same time discuss the values of aqidah tawhid, because Kauniyah verses are signs of Allah's greatness that can be seen in natural phenomena to recognize and strengthen faith in Allah SWT. The purpose of this study is to reveal the educational values of aqidah tawhid contained in the kauniyah verses of Surah Al-’Ankabut from the primary source of the book Ayat-ayat Semesta (Forgotten Sides of the Qur'an) by Prof. Agus Purwanto, D.Sc. This research uses a library research method with a theological approach. The data collection methods used are documentation, interviews, and observation. The results of this study found 12 Kauniyah verses in Surah Al-’Ankabut that contain Aqidah Tauhid Education values, and each verse has 3 types of Tauhid content that are explicit or implicit, namely Tauhid Rububiyah, Tauhid Uluhiyyah, Tauhid Asma' wa Shifat. As well as explaining the advantages of the book, namely: the ability to link religion and science, to present scientific evidence, to have detailed analysis, to provide illustrations and examples, to inspire and motivate further Qur'anic scientific research, to offer a new perspective on scientific literacy in the Islamic world. While the shortcomings: Lack of discussion of kauniyah verses from the perspective of aqidah tawhid education, and details of the types of tawhid in the verses. It is therefore necessary to consult several experts in the field of theology. This study also describes the correlation between the values of tawhid education in the Kauniyah verses of Surah Al-’Ankabut and the discovery of modern science.
