Abstract
This research discusses language errors in the writing of official letters at the Mojoagung Village Office. The problem formulation of this research is how the forms of language errors in official letters at the Mojoagung Village Office are and their implications for Indonesian language teaching at junior high schools. The objective of this research is to describe the forms of language errors in official letters at the Mojoagung Village Office and their implications for Indonesian language education. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research involves data in the form of words rather than numbers. Based on the research findings, the researcher identified 115 errors in 10 official letters. The language errors found in the official letters at the Mojoagung Village Office include spelling errors, morphological errors, semantic errors, and syntactic errors.
