Abstract
The Solo river basin is one of the national priority watersheds that needs to be addressed, while improvements from year to year have not been seen to be significant. The Wiroko sub-watershed, which is located in Wonogiri Regency, which is one of the sub-watersheds of the Solo Watershed, is a sub-watershed that still lacks management by government parties. Problems such as changes in land cover from forest to agriculture, settlements, lack of river area, lack of attention from government agencies in management, flooding that occurs in the Wiroko Sub-watershed which is caused by land conversion from what was originally a body of water/river to agricultural land which causes water flow. the river is getting narrower. The aim of this research is to analyze changes in land cover in the Wiroko Sub-watershed area for the period 2014, 2019, 2022 as well as analyze the management of the Wiroko Sub-watershed area for related agencies/institutions. The method used is overlay using secondary data and stakeholder analysis by conducting interviews with agencies related to the management of the Wiroko Sub-watershed. The results of the research show that the change in land cover for the 2014-2022 period which experienced a significant decrease was the classification of agricultural land cover, dry land mixed with bushes with an area of change reaching 6.325,18 Ha, while for the increase in land cover change which experienced an increase was the plantation land cover class with the increase in area reached 2.214,64 Ha, rice fields with an increase in area of 3.432,49 Ha and water bodies reached 85,72 Ha. Meanwhile, the management of the Wiroko Sub Watershed involves many parties, including provincial level agencies/institutions, Community Institutions and district SKPDs as implementers in collaboration with community agencies/institutions. Based on its main tasks and functions, the institution that plays an active role in coordinating the watershed management agencies/institutions in the Wiroko Sub-watershed is the XI Wonogiri Forest Service Branch (as coordinator). Institutions that play an active role in planning: Bapperida Wonogiri, BPDASHL Solo, BBWS Bengawan Solo. Institutions that play an active role in implementation: all provincial level agencies/institutions that collaborate with district SKPD. Institutions active in monitoring and evaluation: all provincial and district level agencies/institutions/SKPD. Institution that plays an active role in development: Regent (BAPPERIDA Wonogiri).
