Abstract

The hydraulic system is one of the most important things in wheel loader heavy equipment. hydraulic system which includes hydraulic tank, hydraulic pump, control valve, hydraulic cylinder, actuator and filter. The main driving force of the hydraulic wheel loader is a diesel engine which converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy through a hydraulic pump. This analysis aims to determine the type of damage that causes damage and repair steps for the hydraulic pump on the LONKING LG855N wheel loader unit. The implementation method is by visual inspection and operator report. then the disassembly and assembly steps are carried out to determine the damage that has occurred to the hydraulic pump components. After carrying out the inspection process of the hydraulic pump, there is damage found, in the front oil seal part of the gear pump cover which triggers a hydraulic oil leak so that the power and pressure released by the hydraulic pump is reduced due to the leak. In this case, the seal damage is caused by the age of the seal and the heat factor of the hydraulic oil which occurs continuously so that the seal on the front cover of the gear pump becomes brittle and becomes thin. The design stages are: carrying out direct execution on the LONKING LG855N whee l loader unit for the hydraulic pump part, measuring the dimensions of the hydraulic pump, carrying out redesign using solid work applications, calculating (flow rate, pump efficiency, pressure, power) on the hydraulic pump.
