Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how Islamic law waqf through money in BMT AUM. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, using analysis such as data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data from this study were obtained from primary sources, namely interviews with waqf managers through money at BMT AUM and secondary sources in the form of books, journal articles, documents, or reports related to this study. Based on this research, it can be seen that Waqf through money in BMT AUM is in accordance with Islamic law based on the principle of packaging. BMT AUM has collected and managed Waqf funds through money developed or realized through social and productive/investment programs, these programs are the construction of mosques, offices/shophouses, tahfiz boarding schools and making artesian wells. It is important for BMT AUM in the future to expand the development of Waqf funds through money in order to become an Islamic economic force and achieve the benefit and general welfare.
