Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between flexible working arrangement and family support with work-life balance. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection instruments in the form of scales, including the work life balance scale, the flexible working arrangement scale, and the family support scale. The subjects used in this study are BRI bank employees who have worked for a minimum of 1 year. The subjects of this study are 120 employees. The sampling technique applied is purposive sampling. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. In accordance with the major hypothesis proposed by the researcher, it was declared accepted, namely there is a significant role of flexible working arrangement and family support for work-life balance in BRI bank employees (F = 60.207, p = 0.000). Then the first minor hypothesis proposed by the researcher was rejected with the result that there was no role of flexible working arrangement on work life balance (p = 0.433, β = 0.049). The second minor hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant role of family support in work-life balance (p = 0.000, β = 0.409). The effective contribution of flexible working arrangement and family support to work life balance was 50.7% with details of flexible working arrangement contribution of 0.5% while family support was 50.2% so that the influence of family support was greater than flexible working arrangement on work life balance while the other 49.3% was influenced by other factors that had not been studied by researchers.
