Abstract

With the growing population and urban development of Grobogan Regency, the demand for functional open spaces and proper sports facilities is increasing. However, like many other developing cities, Grobogan Regency faces challenges regarding adequate public spaces and sports facilities. As a district with a large area and population, Grobogan residents have diverse sporting interests. Athletes, clubs and local communities need platforms that can support their activities such as performance, physical fitness and recreation. The provision of sports facilities that can accommodate these activities in an integrated area can be realized in the form of a Sports Center. The Sports Center area with a Public Space approach is an important step in strengthening sports infrastructure and open space needs. By combining sports centers and public spaces, the area will have the characteristics of inclusiveness and broad accessibility for various community groups. It will also play an important role in strengthening community ties and promoting social, cultural and sporting activities.
