Abstract
This research aims to investigate the communication strategies of the Department of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (PPKBP3A) of Wonogiri Regency in preventing stunting among the people of Wonogiri Regency. This study is a type of descriptive qualitative research conducted using social marketing theory. Data collection was done through observation and interviews, which were then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques and purposive sampling techniques in sample selection. The results obtained in this study indicate that the communication strategies of the PPKBP3A Department in reducing the prevalence of stunting in Wonogiri Regency are considered quite effective. This is shown by the behavioral changes in the community in preventing stunting in their immediate environment. The development of stunting cases in Wonogiri Regency has significantly decreased from 2021 to 2023, and it is expected to achieve the target of zero stunting, meaning no new stunting cases emerge.
