Abstract

Troso Village is one of the villages in Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. Troso Village is famous for its unique and inherent culture. Weaving culture is an activity that is carried out by many residents of Troso Village, making it a source of livelihood for the community. Public awareness of their culture means this village continues to develop in the weaving process and is able to trade woven fabrics to the wider market. The popularity of ikat woven products meant that Troso Village was finally inaugurated as the Troso Ikat Weaving Attraction Tourist Village in 2010 by the then president, Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The development and design of the Troso Village area as a tourist area based on education and involvement of the surrounding community is a program to organize, improve, develop the Troso Village area with its weaving attractions in order to maximize its potential, improve the standard of living of the surrounding community and maintain the existence of cultural riches. owned by Troso Village.
