Abstract
Children are the future of a nation and constitute the foundation for its development, as Indonesia aims for such progress. In the law, children are defined as individuals under 18 years old, signifying their need for supervision from various parties during this period. This supervision aims to provide legal protection for children, especially their rights. One such right is their access to healthcare in schools, where schools serve as a second home for children to learn and grow alongside peers. Ensuring children's healthcare rights at school is the responsibility of those entrusted with their development, ensuring that their education is equitable and conducive to learning. Health is crucial for a child's well-being and survival. Ensuring children's healthcare access is part of the government's implementation of Child-Friendly Cities to fulfill their duty in safeguarding children's rights. The purpose of this study is to provide insights into the implementation of Child-Friendly Cities, particularly in Surakarta City.
