Abstract

Grobogan Regency is one of the potential agrarian areas, according to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data on August 3, 2023. It shows that the agriculture, fisheries, and plantation sectors are the largest contributors to the economic contribution. The potential in this sector includes main productions such as rice, corn, and soybeans. However, farmers in Grobogan face significant challenges, including difficulty accessing markets, which leads to monopolistic practices in agricultural trade, and difficulties in accessing subsidized fertilizers due to uneven distribution. Therefore, technological innovation is needed as a solution to overcome the uneven distribution of subsidized fertilizers. The Digital Agricultural Industry Center can be the answer to the problems faced by farmers in Grobogan. This Agricultural Center will be a hub for collaboration and innovation, where farmers can meet with researchers and business practitioners to exchange knowledge, technology, and experiences. Through the integration of digital technology, such as online platforms and agricultural information systems, the Agricultural Center will facilitate access to information about best farming practices, market opportunities, and funding for agricultural business development. Additionally, the Agricultural Center will also serve as a training and education facility for farmers, introducing them to modern technology and sustainable farming practices. Therefore, it is hoped that the Agricultural Center can increase agricultural productivity, improve farmer income, and support local economic development in Grobogan Regency.
