Abstract

Sragen Regency, one of the districts in Central Java, has a variety of potential that can help improve the country's economy. The design of an area must be carried out to maximize resources, this potential is useful in increasing community welfare and income of the village or Botok Reservoir area. Located in Mojodoyong Village, Kedawung District, Sragen Regency, Botok Reservoir has a lot of tourism potential, but because it is not managed well, its facilities are limited for visitors. As a result, facilities around the Botok Reservoir must be built or added to improve the supporting facilities and infrastructure and to identify the natural potential that exists there. The aim of planning the Botok Reservoir as a Recreational Waterfront is to produce a planning design that can accommodate various activities such as viewing posts, playgrounds, restaurants, water rides, cafes, sports areas, fishing, and UMKM stalls at the Botok Reservoir. Recreational Waterfront Design in the Botok Reservoir Area is an idea that will describe the shape and layout of the building mass in accordance with the objectives of implementing a waterfront or waterfront building approach.
