Abstract

Making a website-based shop rental application in Kesambi village is an application that provides services in the form of transaction processes that occur between tenants and shop providers. Rentals need to have a website-based application to simplify data processing and reduce transaction recording errors. Because the existing transactions do not support the activities carried out by shop owners in front of the Brayung market, the problems that occur when transactions take place are still using paper so that when storing data the transaction data is often lost. In order to address these requirements, the creation of a shop rental app is essential. The app includes a main menu, shop list, rental transaction status, about, login, and register. The development process employs the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with the waterfall model. It is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL for data storage. By using a database system, the shop rental application simplifies the transaction data processing, ensures accurate rental reports, secures archive data such as payment receipts and renewals, and facilitates the creation of rental receipts and shop rental reports. Testing conducted using a blackbox confirmed that the system operated as intended without any issues. The SUS test produced an average score of 75.24, categorizing the system as Acceptable and suitable for use.
