Abstract

A message is definitely there in a film, whether it's an ordinary film with actors or animation with image characters. In a message, there are many things that we can insert, it’s gonna be moral, financial, kindness, religion, even politics, where many films have begun to present political messages in it, such as Black Panther. The indicator of a message in a film is how the message is developed to the audience and readers as interesting, as well as possible. Content analysis theory is used to explain the content of messages in a film. This type of research is descriptive analysis research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted online by viewing the entire film and examining according to the sample needed in this study, then the analysis used was descriptive analysis which compared the grand theory with the message under study. The results of this study indicate that political messages that have heavy content such as geopolitics and power politics can be included in an animated film that has a fantasy smell and is quite close to today's youth. So that an animation film has a message that is quite debatable in a forum.
