Abstract
Pregnant women are a group that is vulnerable to mental health problems because of the changes they experience at various stages that affect their mental health. Many factors are related to the level of anxiety in pregnant women, including occupational education, parity and husband's support. baby's health. The aim of this study was to examine factors related to anxiety levels in pregnant women at the Pajang Community Health Center. The sample in this study was 125 pregnant women who checked themselves at the Pajang Health Center. Sampling was taken using Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection used the Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale (PASS) questionnaire which had been translated and the husband's support questionnaire which was valid and reliable. The statistical test used is the bivariate test, namely Chi-Square, and the multivariate test, namely the Backward logistic regression method. The results showed that there was a relationship between parity (p=0.002) (OR 95%CI = 3.678(1.642-8.239)) and husband's support (p=0.015) (OR 95%CI= 3.504 (1.390-8.835)). There is no relationship between education and work and the level of anxiety of pregnant women. The parity variable has the highest OR value (OR 3.678), which means that pregnant women in the primigravida group have a 3.6 times increased risk of anxiety compared to the group of multigravida mothers. The conclusion in this study is that parity is the dominant factor related to the level of anxiety of pregnant women. It is suggested that health workers need to provide special education to primigravida mothers regarding preparation for pregnancy until the birth process by involving the role of the husband.
