Abstract
This study aims to describe the forms of parent-teacher collaboration, the factors that influence parent-teacher collaboration, and the increase in learning independence in fifth grade students at SDIP Haji Muhammad Subandi. The type of research used is qualitative research and the time for conducting the research is in June 2022. The subjects and objects of this research are school principals, parents of class V students, homeroom teachers of VA, VB, and VC classes. Data collection techniques used in research are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used by researchers is the data analysis model of Milles & Huberman which consists of three flow of activities namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the form of collaboration between parents and teachers was by giving assignments through the class whatsapp group. Factors that influence parent-teacher collaboration are electronic media, which are used as a medium of communication between parents and teachers to monitor the development of student learning independence. How to increase student learning independence can be done by visiting students' homes (home visit).
