Abstract

Fatigue refers to a condition where the body no longer has the energy to perform high-intensity activities. Occupational fatigue is a common problem experienced by workers because of the potential for accidents while working. This literature review aims to determine the factors associated with work fatigue in gas station attendants. Journals used in the literature review were obtained through the Google Schoolar database by searching for relevant journals with the keywords “factors associated with work fatigue in gas station attendants”, “relationship, work fatigue, gas station attendants”, “risk factors for work fatigue in gas station attendants”, “factors associated work fatigue, gas station”. Results were selected based on inclusion criteria which included: factors associated with work fatigue of gas station attendants, using Cross Sectional design, indexed by SINTA or ISSN, journals can be accessed full text, journals published in the last 10 years (2014-2024). Result from seven journals based on the bivariate test results, three journals were related to age variables, four journals were related to tenure, three journals were related to workload, one journal was related to gender (p-value = 0.0020, one journal was related to nutritional status (p-value = 0.005), one journal was related to work shifts (p-value = 0.036), one journal was related to work stress (p-value = 0.001), one journal was related to sleep quality (p-value = 0.020). Preventive efforts that can be done to reduce and prevent job fatigue in gas station officers can be improved by checking health regularly, increasing rest time by providing a cool and comfortable place, providing drinking water to prevent dehydration, increasing nutritious intake that can increase stamina.
