Abstract

The Tawangmangu Subdistrict located in Karanganyar Regency, has potential risks of landslides. The aim of this research is to evaluate the vulnerability level and analyze the key factors influencing landslides in the area. This study employs a random sampling method for sample selection with data collection both primary and secondary. Identification of land units is conducted through scoring and overlay map techniques. Analysis is performed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results of the overlay analysis allow for the assessment of contributing factors to landslides and the creation of a classification table to facilitate data interpretation. The findings of this research include a landslide vulnerability map of Tawangmangu Subdistrict for the year 2023, delineating low and high vulnerability classes, with the dominant factors being land use and soil type.
