Abstract
Attendance and adherence to teachers' working hours are manifestations of the discipline required of every teacher, and this is one key aspect in supporting the teaching-learning process. However, many schools still manually record attendance using Microsoft Excel, one of which is SMK Negeri 1 Plupuh. This leads to errors in data entry, making it very easy to lose data, resulting in inaccurate reports. Based on these issues, the researcher designed and built a web-based E-presence system with the aim of facilitating teachers and staff in taking attendance. This system is designed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a waterfall approach. Information system development is done using PHP programming language and Laravel framework. Based on testing using the blackbox method, the system has operated according to user input. Additionally, the results of the System Usability Scale (SUS) calculation show an average score of 82.1. This score falls into the excellent category at the grade B level (80-90), indicating that the system is well acceptable and ready for use by users.
