Abstract

This research is motivated by the level of upper and lower passing skills in volleyball students participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Kaliwungu, therefore this study aims to determine the level of upper and lower passing skills in volleyball students participating in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Kaliwungu. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects in this study were 30 students participating in volleyball extracurricular activities at SMK N 1 Kaliwugu. The instrument used was a volleyball skill test from Richard H. Cox using 2 test items, namely (AAHPER face wall-volley test), (Brumbach forearm pass wall-volley). The results of the research on passing skills showed that 4 students (13.3%) were in the very good category, 1 student (3.3%) was in the good category, 21 students (70%) were in the sufficient category, 2 students (6.7%) were in the poor category, and 2 students (6.7%) are in the very poor category. In the lower passing skills, there are 4 students (13.3%) in the very good category, 2 students (6.7%) in the good category, 19 students (63.3%) in the sufficient category, 2 students (6.3%) in the poor category. , and 3 students (10%) are in the very poor category.
