Abstract
Tahfizhul Qur'an Al Rasyid Kartasura Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic boarding school-based educational institution consisting of MTS (Madrasah Tsanawiyyah) and MA (Madrasah Aliyah) units. This Islamic boarding school does not yet have a website that can be used as promotional media. Apart from that, the registration system used still uses a manual system for accepting new students. The aim of this research is that the author designs an information system that can improve the quality of information services, such as making it easier for santri guardians and the general public to obtain data more quickly and accurately and as an online promotion platform. Information system design uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method with a waterfall model, using the Laravel framework, PHP version 5.2.0, MYSQL for databases, Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for web server applications, and Visual Code software for translation. System Information system testing is carried out by Islamic boarding school staff and students using the black box testing method and System Usability Scale (SUS, based on the test results using the black box testing method, the PPTQ Al Rasyid new student registration information system can run well, namely being able to register students new students and managing registration, profile, gallery and management. Test results using the SUS System Usability Scale method show that the new student registration information system is included in the good category and can be graded on a scale of C.
