Abstract

This research aims to find out, study, and describe regarding the causal factors and efforts to resolve land disputes due to multiple land certificates in terms of Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency Number 21 of 2020. The research method used in the preparation of this article uses a normative juridical method which is a method or method that analyzes concepts, principles, norms, and laws and regulations related to the subject matter. Multiple land certificates are one example of a land dispute. The definition of multiple certificates is the issuance of more than one certificate with different time periods, the same field, the same area, and the same boundaries but different ownership. Multiple land certificates will cause overlapping. The results of this research are that there are several external and internal causal factors of multiple land certificates and efforts to resolve land disputes according to Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency Number 21 of 2020 concerning Handling and Settlement of Land Cases. In addition, there are two ways to resolve multiple land certificates, namely non litigation and litigation.
