Abstract
Adi Soemarmo International Airport serves both civilian and military (TNI) flights. The amount of traffic at Adi Soemarmo Airport has increased, apart from being caused by civil aviation, the increasing amount of traffic is also due to the many TNI flight training activities. This causes the ATC workload to increase due to having to serve many flights. Increased workload can cause physical and mental fatigue of ATC which results in human error. This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and fatigue in ATC officers. Measurement of workload and fatigue was carried out by distributing NASA-TLX and SSRT questionnaires every work shift. The number of samples used was all respondents of each work shift totalling 7 people. The results showed that the average ATC workload in the morning shift was very high, the afternoon shift was very high, and the night shift was high. And the average ATC fatigue in the morning shift is low category, day shift is low category, and night shift is low category. Based on the correlation statistical test, there was no significant relationship between workload and fatigue in ATC officers from both morning (p-value 0.721), afternoon (p-value 0.352), and night shifts (p-value 0.374).
