Abstract

Home door security has become a crucial issue in this modern era. Home security is not only a topic of conversation in society, but also a basic need to protect the assets and privacy of its residents. Weaknesses in the security system can open opportunities for criminal acts such as theft. To overcome this, this research created a door security system that uses a solenoid door lock as a locking mechanism and RFID as a visitor identification tool. This system is integrated with the MySQL database, data from RFID sensors can be stored and managed systematically, a website was created to make it easier to monitor visitor activities, including viewing identity and access times, as well as managing data, and there are also notifications sent to Telegram. The way this tool works is by bringing the RFID tag card closer to the RFID Reader, then the data is processed and sent to the database. If the card is registered, the tool will activate the LED Green, buzzer, relay which activates the solenoid door lock, and the door will open. If the card has not been registered, the tool will activate the LED Red and buzzer, in these two conditions it will send a notification to Telegram to monitor access to the house. The results of this research can improve home security and privacy.
