Abstract

Fish care is very important for fish growth and development. The problem in keeping fish is the difficulty in monitoring and feeding the fish which results in the fish being poorly cared for, such as reduced water due to leaks in the pond or pond irrigation system, irregular feeding and water temperature that cannot be monitored. The author wants to create a solution, namely by developing a tool that can make fish care easier. The aim of this research is to monitor and control water quality based on a website. Monitoring and feeding can be done automatically and can be monitored remotely using a WiFi network. The tool uses components in the form of a Wemos D1 microcontroller, a servo as a fish food distributor, a ds18b20 temperature sensor, an ltrasonik sensor as a water level detector and also an RTC (Real Time Clock) as a determinant of fish feeding time. The ideal water temperature in a fish pond is 26-30 degrees Celsius so that the fish do not experience health problems, especially the fish's circulatory system. The remote monitoring system uses the Blynk platform which can be accessed using desktops and smartphones. It is hoped that the development of this tool will make it easier to maintain fish and can maintain the growth and development of fish. The tool has 3 main functions, namely monitoring water temperature, monitoring water distance and fish feeding schedules which can be set via Blynk. The tool also has the ability to provide warning notifications based on 2 parameters, namely water distance and water temperature that are greater than the blynk setting. The device utilizes Network Time Protocol (NTP) to synchronize the device's timing with the time provided by the internet. In the test, which is divided into 3 tests, namely testing the temperature sensor, distance sensor (ultrasonik) and testing the feeding schedule, the tool can work according to the design, where the tool can provide notifications and read sensors and also provide food to the fish according to the schedule that has been set on Blynk.
