Abstract
There are problems with land use that is not in accordance with spatial patterns and there has been no analysis of data related to the Jatinom Urban Area which must be researched further so that the extent of land use in the Jatinom Urban Area is known. Activities to evaluate the suitability of land use with spatial patterns are also needed by knowing what percentage of the area is suitable or not suitable, with the suitability evaluation it can be known so that further checks can then be carried out and can also be used as one of the supporting facts for a decision related to the use of the area and space pattern. With the aim of; Analyze the spatial distribution of locations of land use against spatial pattern plans in 2023, Analyze the percentage of land suitability for spatial patterns in 2023, and Evaluate existing land use against spatial patterns in 2043. The method used is the Descriptive Quantitative Method, this method is descriptive , research, and explain afterwards drawing conclusions from what was observed with final results using numbers. Using overlay as a tool, combining two features will produce a new feature, where all the features and their attributes will be included in it. produces 8 types of land use in the Jatinom Urban Area. The 8 types of land use include; industrial buildings, village settlements, city settlements, fish ponds, fields, fields, rice fields, and rice fields interspersed with other plants/fallows. Meanwhile, the percentage of suitability of land use to spatial patterns in the Jatinom Urban Area is 88.17% covering an area of 10758.31 Ha and the nonconformity is 11.83% covering an area of 1443.85 Ha. Evaluation of the factors that cause many land use mismatches to spatial patterns and these factors are; community needs, population growth, lack of knowledge about RTRW, physical conditions of the area, and no sanctions for violations.
