Abstract
Designing Semanggi Flats using a Biophilic Concept Approach is a solution to overcome the problem of population density which is increasing rapidly in the Semanggi area, Surakarta. The main target market for residents of the Semanggi Flats is the middle to lower class community due to the increasing number of Semanggi residents who do not have a place to live or even live on illegal land such as along train tracks and in slum areas, which can actually be dangerous for the residents themselves. The method in this discussion uses a descriptive method, namely the author provides answers to the facts in the research results using field observations and literature studies. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to provide a place or place to live for residents who do not have a place to live in the Semanggi area
