Abstract
Nosocomial infections are infections acquired from the hospital environment through the transmission of pathogens. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the physical environment on the results of floor and wall germ numbers in the ICVCU room at Dr. RSUD. Moewardi. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods with secondary data analysis. The secondary data used is data obtained from the Sanitation Installation which has carried out inspections of floor and wall germ numbers in the ICVCU room at RSUD Dr. Moewardi, and obtained by submitting a request for permission to the Ethical Clearance and Education and Research Section of RSUD Dr. Moewardi. Humidity has no significant effect on floor and wall germ numbers with a significance value of 0.716 R correlation -0.056 and a significance value of 0.886 R correlation -0.022. Lighting does not have a significant effect on floor and wall germ numbers with a significance value of 0.504 R correlation 0.103 and a significance value of 0.519 R correlation 0.100. The effect of temperature does not stick to floor and wall germs because it has a significance value greater than 0.05, namely 0.278 and 0.957. The effect of density does not affect the floor and wall germ numbers because they have a significance value greater than 0.05, namely 0.062 and 0.241. High levels of floor and wall germs can be caused by other physical environmental factors, not only dependent on humidity and lighting.
