Abstract

The research in this dissertation discusses the increasingly rapid development of the times, influenced by advances in the field of information and technology, which has an impact on various aspects, one of which is in the legal field, namely the position of notary. The formulation of the problem studied is how is the legal protection for cyber notaries for the process of making deeds by notaries and what is the concept of transcendence-based legal protection for cyber notaries? The results of this dissertation research are that there are regulations governing electronic certification (cyber notary) in the Elucidation of Article 15 paragraph (3) of Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Notary Positions, as well as several articles in other laws and regulations that provide opportunities for cyber implementation. According to the author, the concept of transcendence-based cyber notary is that the practice is still carried out face-to-face, but the output produced is in the form of an electronic deed containing elements of transcendence in the process of making the deed.
