Abstract
A work agreement with a contract system is an agreement between a company and workers/labourers to do work for a certain period of time. This employment agreement creates a legal relationship between the company and the worker. The purpose of this research is to find out the process of implementing a work agreement with a contract system, regulations and the rights and obligations of the parties after the issuance of a work agreement with a contract system, as well as the legal responsibilities of both parties due to default and/or unlawful acts. This research method is a normative approach that examines legal principles, legal norms and legal responsibilities related to work agreements between companies and workers/labourers based on a contract system. This research is descriptive analysis in nature and explains systematically the implementation of work agreements with a contract system between companies and workers / laborers while doing work with a contract system. The data source of this research is secondary data collection from literature search and primary data from field research. The results of this study indicate that work agreements made with the contract system can be implemented with the approval or agreement of both parties. The agreement is made in writing and the agreement arises from the agreement and signing of the work agreement letter between the parties with a contract system. With the agreement of the parties, a legal relationship is created that determines the rights and obligations of each party that must be obeyed and fulfilled by both parties. And then legal liability arises from the mistakes of one or both parties in the performance of the contract. This error may be due to default and/or unlawful acts.
