Abstract

The aims of this study were: 1) to determine the effect of recruitment on employee performance, 2) to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance, and 3) to determine the effect of recruitment and motivation on employee performance at Company X Textile in Sukoharjo. Research using a quantitative approach by collecting data using a questionnaire on employees at Company X Textile in Sukoharjo in June 2023 with a total of 100 employees. Sampling in this study using random sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The conclusions of this study are: 1) recruitment has an effect on employee performance with a sig value of 0.000 and a tcount > ttable value of 4,102 > 1.984, meaning that there is an effect of recruitment on employee performance, 2) motivation has an effect on employee performance obtained a sig value of 0,000 with a tcount > ttable value of 4,384 > 1,984, meaning that there is an effect of motivation on employee performance, and 3) recruitment and motivation have a joint effect similar to employee performance, the value of Fcount (68.583) > Ftable (3.088), means that there is an effect of recruitment and motivation simultaneously on employee performance at Company X Textile in Sukoharjo.
