Abstract

Islamic economics is no longer unfamiliar to world economic activity. Many countries are looking for solutions to overcome the destruction of the capitalist and socialist economic systems. Many workers in capitalist countries have taken to the streets to seek justice because their rights have been taken away by rulers who are subservient to capital holders or investors. It is undeniable that the capitalist system has brought progress in the economy of western countries in the last 100 years. Because of the inequality that cannot be separated from capitalism, socialism emerged, which does not agree with individual ownership. But unfortunately, both systems are separated from the moral and divine values that should be attached. Which results in misery for the laborers or workers. Whereas human dignity in Islam is upheld, human rights are very much guarded regardless of the degree of life or wealth they have. In Islamic labor theory, no one is harmed, because both employers and workers are required to give each other rights and carry out their respective obligations.
