Abstract
Humanity depends on electrical energy every day. Developments are regularly refined over time to produce more efficient power. A popular source of energy that is being widely used is the energy source derived from permanent magnet generators. Since permanent magnet generators provide a large amount of energy without causing damage to the environment, they are very useful. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) was chosen because of its advantages over other devices, such as the use of permanent magnets, which increase the generator's high power efficiency while reducing its loss value. The 36 slot and 12 pole Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) research was made by modifying an induction motor. Tests were conducted without load and using load. Testing without load with the highest speed of 533 rpm produces a voltage value of 57.92 Volts. Then testing with a load with the highest speed of 507 rpm produces a voltage value of 20.12 Volts. The rotational speed of the generator affects the output of voltage, current, and power. The faster the rotation takes place, the higher the voltage, current, and power.
