Abstract
This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Andong Special Program. Teacher creativity in a lesson greatly influences student development, because the more creative the teacher is in conveying the material, the easier it is for students to understand the lesson. Teacher creativity can also be seen from the adjustment of a teacher to changes in the learning curriculum. This study aims to determine teacher perceptions about teaching creativity to elementary school-aged children at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong. This study uses a type of qualitative research and the research design is a phenomenological design. The subjects of this study were teachers at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data in this study uses a type of triangulation method and sources. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, presenting data, verification. Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) teacher perceptions of teaching creativity at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong (2) curriculum development at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong (3) technology development at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong (4) creative and innovative learning at SD Muhammadiyah PK Andong.
