Abstract
Learning Indonesian cannot be separated from teaching materials. So the selection of teaching materials must be adjusted to the curriculum that has been found. This research aims to: 1) describe the structure of editorial texts written by students in class XII of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sragen and 2) describe the linguistic rules of editorial texts in students' essays in class The object of this research is editorial text which is applied as Indonesian language teaching material and the subjects of this research are students in class XII IPS 4 at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sragen. This data can be in the form of student worksheet results. research teaching materials in the form of examples of editorial texts on an internet site. The data source applied in this research is internet media. This research material is about linguistic structures and rules. The data collection techniques in this research are documentation and development of teaching materials. The conclusion of this research is that in developing teaching materials in applying internet-based media to Indonesian language subjects regarding editorial texts, it is applied to build motivation and attraction for students to make them more interesting or enthusiastic in learning editorial texts and by utilizing digital news. used to facilitate students in editorial text learning activities for class XII.
