Abstract

Selogiri District is one of the sub-districts in Wonogiri Regency whose land use is dominated by rice fields. As time goes by, land availability decreases due to increased development. Based on existing phenomena, the use of rice fields in Selogiri District has changed into built-up land as if it has changed into an industry. The aim of this research is to analyze the functional distribution of rice fields and analyze the relationship between accessibility factors and changes in rice field use. In this study, the overlay method was used using ArcGIS software. Before overlaying, carry out the digitization process on the 2016 and 2022 Sentinel Images according to the interpretation. After overlaying, the method used for the second objective is to add a road network to analyze the relationship between accessibility factors and changes in rice field use. The results of this research are that Selogiri District is one of the areas experiencing changes in the use of rice fields to non-rice fields. This change was initially land used for agricultural activities but was changed to built-up land. The use of rice fields in Selogiri District has changed to industry, housing, stone quarries and pools in restaurants. The largest percentage of change in use of rice fields was the change to industry, namely 1.58%. Then the percentage of changes to Water Bodies is 0.10%, changes to Settlements is 0.01% and changes to Vacant Land is 0.22%. These changes are around Collector Road and City Ring Road. The City Ring Road is a newly built road which aims to reduce traffic jams in the city. The road is in good condition so it is suitable for vehicles to pass. After conducting interviews, these changes were related to accessibility. This change is on Jalan Collector which makes it easier to get to that location. Then there are also changes around the City Ring Road, where the road is a new road and is in good condition.
