Abstract

Content creator has now become a profession that many people are interested in. Jerome Polin is one of the Indonesian content creators who uses YouTube. YouTube has become one of the most popular video platforms, making content creators move to create creative and high-quality video content and then form personal branding. This research discusses the personal branding of a YouTuber, namely Jerome Polin. Jerome Polin's personal branding can be seen through Jerome's activities, interactions and character, and how Jerome shapes himself in the eyes of society. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using content analysis techniques and the data collection method used is the recovery method. The results of this study show that Jerome Polin on the Nihongo Mantappu YouTube channel applies eight personal branding concepts of Peter Montoya namely, Appearance, Leadership, Nursing, Specialization, Difference, Firmness, Unity and Good Intentions. The results of this study show the tendency to use personal branding Specialization, Visibility, Personality and Goodwill. Keyword : personal branding, youtube, content creator
