Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) is a company under the auspices of a state-owned company which operates in the services sector to improve the quality of community services and as a provider of the national electricity system which is distributed throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, PT PLN does not yet have a power-adding service information system to manage transaction data in the company. The additional power service system is an increase in the amount of power or supply of electrical power that flows to houses, buildings, apartments and others. Transaction data management at PT PLN is still done manually by typing into MS. Excel and when the data verification process for additional power services is still being carried out by re-checking the transaction data in MS one by one. Excel. This is certainly not efficient and effective in managing power added service transaction data. The aim of this research is to design an additional power service system for the Customer Service Marketing division (SARPP) in managing customer data who wish to add power, assisting admins in storing data so that data management becomes more efficient. The method used in developing this power added service information system is the waterfall method, which starts with system planning to obtain optimal and relevant results with system requirements data, system analysis, system design, system implementation, system testing using a black box and sus, and system maintenance. The power added service information system was developed using the PHP and MySQL programming languages using the CodeIgneter framework. Based on this test, it was concluded that the results of the functionality testing of the design and construction of the power added service were running well and the system usability scale (SUS) test results obtained a score of 79.1, which means the system is acceptable and suitable for use by users. Through the analysis and testing carried out, it can be seen that the development of a data management website for information on power-adding services is an effective alternative for improving services to the public, where the system will be able to produce information processing accurately and quickly without reducing the value of the information itself.
