Abstract

One of the road infrastructure developments that has an impact on regional economic growth is the construction of the South Ring Road in Salatiga City. This economic growth is marked by the development of MSMEs along JLS Salatiga. JLS construction can also have negative impacts. The development of new MSMEs after the construction of JLS Salatiga, of course, has an impact on the development of MSMEs that were established before JLS Salatiga was built. It is important to monitor areas that have the potential to become economic growth points so that optimal development can be carried out. The objectives of this research are 1) Analyze the characteristics of MSMEs along the South Ring Road of Salatiga City; 2) Analyze the development of MSMEs along the South Ring Road of Salatiga City from 2012-2022. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method with a field survey. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods were carried out by field and secondary surveys through related agencies. The data processing method is carried out by simplifying the research results. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results showed that there were 82 MSME points spread along JLS Salatiga, with a classification of 70 micro businesses and 12 small businesses. The development of MSMEs based on asset, revenue, labor and marketing shows that there is development by all MSMEs regarding these development factors from 2012-2022.
