Abstract
A travel agency is an entity that helps customers plan and organize their trips by offering a tour package that covers various aspects such as transportation, tours, accommodation, and activities during the trip. The Athreya Tours travel agency is still relying on conventional service processes without an online information system that makes it easier for customers to book a tour package or get information about their company. The main problem is the difficulty in tracking customer orders and providing relevant information efficiently. This problem not only creates uncertainty for customers but also interferes with operational efficiency and the overall customer experience. A website-based travel service booking information system is expected to address the problems that Athreya Tours travel agencies face by improving operating efficiency and providing a better customer experience in planning their trips. The researchers applied the waterfall method, from needs analysis to the maintenance stage of the system, in the development of a website-based travel service booking information system. Based on the test results with the black box and system usability scale (SUS) methods, it was found that the system works well, with an average SUS score of 77.4 falling in the “acceptable” and “good” categories.
