Abstract

The largest number of cervical cancer sufferers in the world in Indonesia. The main cause of cervical cancer is HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) which is transmitted through sexual contact and one of the other risk factors is the use of oral contraceptives for a long time. This study aims to analyze the relationship between risk factors for oral contraceptives and the incidence of cervical cancer. This research was conducted by using the literature review method. Literature in the form of journal publications sourced from electronic databases such as Google Scholar, Sinta Ristekdikti, and Portal Garuda. Based on the results of the search, 6 literatures were obtained that fit the inclusion criteria, with case control and cross sectional research methods, sampling techniques using total sampling, consecutive sampling, accidental sampling, and quota sampling techniques. Statistical tests used Chi-square (bivariate analysis), Logistic Regression (multivariate analysis) and Spearman Rank correlation statistical analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the risk factors for oral contraceptives have a strong relationship with the incidence of cervical cancer, the results of bivariate and multivariate analysis in the 6 articles.
