Abstract
The study of Fiqh al-Maqasid received great attention from contemporary scholars. This is because of the importance of Maqosid Fiqh in dealing with the latest facts, especially in dealing with contemporary issues in Islamic economics, where the field is growing, branches are increasing, problems are increasing, and questions are being raised about legal decisions. One of the eminent scholars who had great interest and successful research was the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Sheikh Al-Mahfouz bin Bayyah, may Allah protect him. His writings show he was an expert in the science of maqhosid. His writings dealing with the development of Islamic economics and linking them to maqhosid considerations are numerous and available. Therefore, he attracted the attention of the researcher to research and investigate his theories in the face of the development of Islamic economics and its application in the sale of cash on delivery (COD), because it is one of the developments of Islamic economy and people wonder about its laws. In this study, researchers will discuss the following: What is the purpose in Islamic economics?, What is the law of selling with Cash on Delivery (COD) payments through the application of maqhosid science when dealing with contemporary developments in Islamic economics according to Sheikh Abdullah bin Sheikh Al-Mahfouz bin Bayyah?. This research is a literature research, where researchers use inductive, analytical, descriptive approaches. Among the most important results of the research achieved by the researcher: showing us goals in Islamic economics and goal realization models in emerging economic problems, and showing us the law on selling with Cash on Delivery (COD) payments through Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah's theory of goals.
