Abstract

Sekar Furniture is a company engaged in furniture production. Therefore, it needs to be adept at managing production strategies and accurate data recording to improve production outcomes. However, in practice, financial data management at Sekar Furniture is still done manually. The aim of this research is to create a web-based financial management information system for Sekar Furniture to simplify the effective and efficient financial recording process. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), consisting of system analysis, system design, system implementation, system testing, and system maintenance. The programming language used is Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) with the Laravel framework, and the database uses MySQL. Program testing is conducted using Blackbox Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the system testing using the Blackbox method show that the system's functionality runs at 100%. Additionally, the SUS testing indicates that the application received an average score of 76.25, meaning the system falls into the "acceptable" category.
