Abstract

The difference in natural resources in each country is one of the factors in the occurrence of international trade. Indonesia has a superior commodity, namely crude palm oil or commonly called Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Indonesia ranks first as the largest CPO producer in the world, followed by Malaysia and Thailand. The high value of CPO production has made Indonesia a major exporter in the world. This study aims to analyze the influence of GDP, population, and consumption levels in seven European Union countries on Indonesia's CPO exports to the European Union in 2015-2019. The research method used to analyze the factors that influence Indonesia's CPO exports in the European Union is panel data analysis. This study uses secondary data in the form of cross-sectional data of seven export destination countries in the European Union during the 2015-2019 period. The seven countries in question are Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Ukraine and Denmark which have the largest number of CPO exports from Indonesia.
