Abstract

In the economic aspect, people with hearing impairment have the same needs as in general. There are many ways that a person can do to survive and meet their needs. The physical limitations of people with hearing impairments sometimes make them unable to survive on their own and rely on others. Entrepreneurship is one of the choices that can be made by people with hearing impairments to improve their standard of living and become better. The results of this study refer to the 4 stages of social penetration, namely the orientation stage, affective exploratory exchange, affective exchange and stable exchange. And DeVito's 5 humanistic approaches, namely openness, empathy, support, positive attitude, and equality. In practice, volunteers must be able to communicate well with people with hearing impairments to build comfort and mutual recognition to facilitate entrepreneurship learning activities. Volunteers are also required to have more patience and must also have a firm attitude towards people with hearing impairments.
