Abstract

Allah commands His servants to pray. This da'wah order is addressed to all Muslims according to their fields and individual abilities. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on all fields, including da'wah activities. Because the law of da'wah is mandatory, many da'wah actors look for strategies and methods of da'wah so that da'wah activities can be carried out. The purpose of this study was to find out the contextualization of the verses of da’wah orders during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is field research with a qualitative approach and using a descriptive analysis method by collecting, explaining and analyzing the verses of da'wah orders using the Abdullah Saeed interpretation method and then contextualizing them during the Covid-19 pandemic. The primary source of this research came from field and secondary source of the book of Tafsir Al-Misbah, Tafsir Al-Azhar, Tafsir Al-Manar, Tafsir Fi Zhilalil Qur'an, and the book Paradigm Principles and Methods of Contextualist Interpretation of the Qur'an. While secondary sources come from the literature related to the research theme. The results of this study suggest that da’wah will continue all the time in any circumstances or circumstances. The pandemic condition is not an obstacle for Muslims not to preach. Da'wah messages are still conveyed to the public through virtual da'wah, because they are considered more effective and easier.
