Abstract
This study aims to improve students' understanding of class X-2 economics subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta through the implementation of quizizz learning media. This type of research is classroom action research with a spiral class action model developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The subjects in this study were X-2 grade students. The object of research is the application of quizizz learning media in class X-2 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. Data collection techniques with observation, pre-test, post-test, interview and documentation. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of quizizz learning media that was carried out optimally increased understanding in grade X-2 students as seen from the learning outcomes in cycle I (pre-test) class X-2 the average score of class 72.5 increased through cycle II (post-test) with an average score of 86.77. In cycle I the number of students who obtained scores above KKM was only 8 students with a percentage of 36.36%, in cycle 2 there was an increase in the number of students who obtained scores above KKM to 18 students with a percentage of 81.81%. While in the first cycle a total of 14 students with a percentage of 63.63% had not reached the KKM score in the second cycle decreased to 4 students with a percentage of 18.18%. The conclusion in this study shows that the implementation of quizizz learning media in increasing students' understanding of class X-2 economics subjects at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 has succeeded in becoming a solution as a medium that helps students in increasing their understanding of economic learning.
