Abstract

Cleanliness of the cage greatly affects the health of the cows because when the cage is occupied there is too much manure which can cause various diseases in the cows. So that the stables are always clean, cattle breeders must clean the cages at least twice a day, namely in the morning and in the evening. This sometimes causes problems for cattle breeders, especially cattle breeders in rural areas because most rural people besides raising cattle also do farming, so sometimes the process of cleaning the stables can interrupt time. In addition, cattle breeders must provide regular drinking every day. This final project research is aimed at facilitating cattle breeders in caring for cattle by giving drinking water to livestock and cleaning the stables automatically. In addition to caring for cattle, this research also aims to provide security for cattle by being equipped with an ESP32_Cam camera that has been integrated with the OV02640 camera module, so that kendang can be monitored directly by breeders via the internet. This research is based on the NodeMCU microcontroller which has been integrated with the wifi module, so that data received by the microcontroller can be connected directly to the internet. The results showed that drinking the cows and spraying the cages could be controlled automatically using a microcontroller , besides that they could be monitored directly using the blynk application, and cage monitoring could be done via the internet using ESP32_Cam. The conclusion of this study is that the use of IoT can help ease the work of farmers in controlling and supervising the cage.
